Support a semi candidate or candidate pupil with the Ecojua Bag by Smart Girls foundation. The EcoJua Smart Bag is a waterproof, solar-powered backpack made from recycled materials, designed primarily to support the education and menstrual health of girls in rural Uganda.
These bags are more than just school supplies; they are a social initiative to address barriers to education in underprivileged communities. The communities we service have no electricity and this becomes a challenge for children who have to read and do homework outside school.
Each bag includes an integrated solar panel that charges a removable LED lamp, allowing children to study safely at night without relying on dangerous and expensive kerosene lamps or candles
